Every safety professional stays up-to-date with both state and federal regulations, and continues their education to be able to provide customers with the most current information. Many of the safety professionals hold multiple certifications, such as Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST).
These designations require Ag Services’ safety professionals to meet certain prerequisites, and once they are eligible, pass the required examination. The CHMM designation is offered by the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM) who is committed to protecting the environment and the publics health and safety. The OHST designation is nationally accredited by the National Commission of Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and helps to insure the health, welfare, and safety of the public. These and other designations demonstrate Ag Services’ safety professionals ability to provide companies with exceptional service in regards to their safety needs.
Ag Services, LLC and their employees participate with various Safety and Compliance organizations including the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), National Safety Council (NSC), and Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS). These memberships along with several state associations allow Ag Services the opportunity to stay up-to-date on industry news and trends, provide support, knowledge, resources and training to our safety professional which are then passed to the companies they service.
